Lori Meyer

Lori Julia Meyer, age 53 of Gallatin TN, passed away on Tuesday November 29 2022 after losing her battle with cancer. Lori is survived by her loving husband Erich and her beautiful daughter, Jessica.

Lori was born June 3rd 1969 to Michael and Antoinette Olivieri in Staten Island, NY. She moved to Scottsdale Arizona with her parents and sister in 1977. Lori received her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and her master’s degree in Special Education from Phoenix University.

Lori, Erich, and Jessica moved to middle Tennessee in 2009 where she became a Special Education Teacher for 11 years at Hawkins Middle School and later at Rucker Stewart Middle School. She was a passionate teacher who changed lives teaching special needs children. Lori also taught English as a second language virtually to children in China. In her spare time Lori moonlighted as an 80’s rock radio personality at 88.5 WVCP.  Lori was a mom-a-ger to Jessica, mentoring her on public speaking, broadcasting, video productions, and her Positively Jessica brand. She was always surrounded by her four-legged fur babies.

Lori was a strong woman, loving wife, wonderful mother and daughter, awesome sister and friend to everyone. Lori never met a stranger and her passion for life shined bright.
