We believe she's in heaven reunited with her mom, Martha Fransisco Counts and her dad, Claude Edgar Counts; her two sisters, Dessaline Counts Surber and Opal Counts Kidd. I'm guessing our Mom is probably making dinner so it will be ready when we all get there.
Zana is survived by her son, Donald Wayne Davis (Kim); two daughters, Angela Marie Davis Mariano and Amy Robin Davis Witt (Mike); five beautiful grandchildren, Ashley Marie Mariano Snedden (Brian), Mary Marie "Emmy" Davis, Chasen James Mariano, Megan Michelle Davis and Hayden Michael Witt; bother, Claude Edgar Counts, Jr. (Elaine); many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Ruth Stover. Please notice that three of the people listed above are named Marie after their mother/grandmother. She always said that we were her sunshine and we look forward to when the sun shines again.

Donald, Angie, Amy and family,
I have such wonderful memories of my dear beautiful Aunt Zana. She was sweet, funny and a little mischievous. What fun my Mom and Aunt had when they got together. They reminisced, giggled, joked, laughed until they cried and then laughed some more. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. Sending you prayers, hugs and lots of love.
Donald, angie, amy and family . My little sister nailed it spot on. But she left out the gum popping and I truly believe that I was the subject that motivated her to coin the phrase and I quote [You little sh#t hook}.. What a wonderful smile she had. The Counts girls are back together again. what fun they having. Terry and I speak often of how blessed we all are to have such great family ,and to hav e grown up in a time that was truly special’.
