Wanda lived a life of ups and downs. Like most of us, she experienced difficulties and triumphs, but most importantly she remained her strong, sassy and stubborn self. All of us know that Wanda was tough when she needed to be, but it’s important to remember and mention her compassionate side. Wanda loved her grandchildren! If you ever had the opportunity to be in the same room as her and her grandchildren, especially Peyton, you would know that her life revolved around the love and safety of her grandchildren. Wanda was also a loving and caring mother. Raising, in her words, two sets of children, Wanda’s love for her children extended beyond that of an everyday mother. When needed, Wanda, couldn’t be expected of anything less than going above and beyond for her children in more times than one. Wanda often stated that her greatest loves and triumph of this world were her children and grandchildren. As we say goodbye to Wanda Johns today, its important to remember we are not actually saying goodbye, we are actually saying see you later.
