Mr. Watts was born Jan. 18, 1933 in Davidson County, TN, son of the late James Theophilus and Nan Sturdivant Watts. He is survived by loving wife of 66 years, Marian Watts; daughters, Valeria Byrd (Stan), Sabrina O'Neal (Jeff) and Lorinda Buren (Bill); grandchildren, Will, Claire, Ben, Emily, Casey, Chad, Elizabeth and Justin; great grandchildren, Eleanor, Corinne, Silas, Samuel and John.
Mr. Watts served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member and former elder of Hartsville Pike Church of Christ.
Funeral Service will be 1 pm Friday, Oct. 4th at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ with Brother Brian Jarrett and Brother Doyle Farris officiating. Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 3rd from 5-9 pm at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ and Friday, Oct. 4th from 11:30 am until time of service at the church.
