Mrs. Velda H. Baker age 96, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away Saturday May 18, 2019. Mrs. Baker was born April 7, 1923, in Benton County, Tennessee, to the late Ethel Smothers Hogue.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Baker, and a daughter Zelda Anda Johnson.

Surviving are her children; Elton Lee Wiseman (Vicki), Priscilla Faye Bain, John Thomas Wiseman (Janice), Norma Dean Ray (Terry), and Nora Jean Luttrell. 17 grandchildren, and many great, and great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Tuesday May 21, 2019, at 1 PM from the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4PM - 8 PM, and Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

My condolences for your loss. I can't understand exactly how you feel but. Isaiah 40:26 in part-reads that you will find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of Jehovah God, who will remember every detail about your love one and bring them back again in the "resurrection hope". (Acts 24:15)
