Tommy Ray Curtis

Tommy Ray Curtis, age 75, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on March 26^th, 2024. He was born on August 16^th, 1948, to parents Abner and Jean Curtis in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father Abner James Curtis, and his mother Jean Rosalee Curtis. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Curtis, his two sons Timothy Shawn (Joie) Curtis and Travis (Chastity) Curtis. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jared, Eva, Olivia, and Garrett, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Tommy Curtis was a hardworking man. He was a truck driver who had amassed over three million miles worth of driving under his belt. He wasn’t just a driver, but a master of highways and byways. During his time off the road, he enjoyed spending his free moments with his family. He was a lucrative man who was keen on his finances. Playing with the stock market and investing, to make sure he and his family were stable. He had a soft spot for animals, especially his beloved dogs.

Tommy Ray Curtis proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was recognized for his valor with a Purple Heart Medal among numerous other distinctions. He displayed unwavering courage on the frontlines of three major battles during his service to his country.

A graveside service to honor Tommy's life will be held on April 4, 2024, at 11AM at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located at 7931 McCrory Ln., Nashville, TN 37221. The service will be a solemn occasion to pay tribute to a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.
