Margie, although I met Steve, I did not know him. I do know, however, that through his difficult days he could always draw comfort and solace from your unwavering love and devotion. Knowing that Steve could rely upon these riches from one as special as you tells me all I need to know about his qualities as a man and husband. I know this is a painful loss, but it is our hope that you can find your own comfort in knowing that, you are in the thoughts and hearts of all who know you. Bless you.

Heidi and I are so sorry to hear about Steve. We had a lot of good times together and I am so grateful that we were brought together again after so many years apart. I couldn't believe when I heard your voices at the store that day. I knew who it was but I had to look to see if it was really you two. We love you Margie and we will see you soon.

Daniel where do I begin to tell you how grateful I am that you chose to become Steve's sponsor. You were willing to go the extra mile to meet his unique needs and I am so thankful you accepted the challenge. I'm also thankful that he could confide to you words and feelings that he had locked inside for so many years. Working thru the steps, breaking the chains, discussions and thoughts privately shared provided some healing to his broken heart. Then God stepped in And gave him a complete healing with a special ticket to heaven! Thank you for words of encouragement today at the memorial service and sharing what he was able to accomplish this past year. It was so perfect and beautiful. I'm forever grateful to you.

Thank you Eddie and Heidi. I thought my heart broke when I lost brother Joe. But there’s no comparison to the heartbreak of losing Steve. I'm ending day three Of the rest of my days and learning how to live without him. He spoiled me and did everything he could to make me happy. We had struggles but the good far outweighed the rough. Thank God his pain is gone and I believe Joe greeted him and said "It's about time you got here putz!!!!" And Steve said "Here I am schmuck!!! - just like the Grumpy Old Men movie ߘ„ It was a perfect memorial service for Steve and I'm certain he would have approved!
