Sherran Short

Mrs. Sherran Short, age 76, passed away on November 29, 2021. She was born in Macon County on March 1, 1945 to the late Herschel and Lois Miller. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Danny Miller.

Sherran was an avid fisher and had the patience to sit all day just to catch one fish. She loved her family, and her greatest blessing was being MeMe to her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, MeMe, sister and friend who will be truly missed.

Sherran is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Harvell Short; children, Michael Short and Tori Short; grandchildren, Paige Terry, Hanna Short, Peyton Terry, and Payne Terry; and one brother, Barry Miller.

A life celebration will be held at 11am, Tuesday, December 7th in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4-8pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10-11am prior to the service. Burial will be at Crestview Memory Gardens.
