Our deepest sympathy to all the Famiily. Doris was a wonderful person and we are so proud to have know her and the Family. It was a pleasure to see her coming up the aisle at FBC after Sunday School and stop and we would have a little chat. She will be missed by all of us. God Bless Each of You.
Love, Ruth, Jay, Tracy and JoAnn
We have known Doris and J.B. and their family practically all of our lives. As our neighbors and good friends since 1965, they always treated us as if we were their family, too. Doris was a kind and gentle soul, always putting others before herself. If anyone wanted to know characteristics of a true Southern lady, Doris had all of them. We will miss her terribly, but we will also reflect fondly on her neighborly visits and motherly wisdom that she gave so freely. With Love, Karen, Rufus, and Susan Wright
Mary Womack October 14, 2017 at 2:30 amDoris and I worked together at Security Federal Savings and Loan. She was a sweet, gentle lady and I loved her. She was so proud of her family and loved each one so much. I will never forget her sweet smile and our sweet relationship. May God bless each family member. I know her absence will leave a huge vacancy in your lives.
Virgil and Cynetha York October 14, 2017 at 4:51 pmWe first met Doris and her husband, JB in the late 60’s as part of our church family and we were blessed to know them and their precious family. Ms. Doris’s smile was infectious and made our day bright anytime that we met. May our risen savior give your family comfort during this time of loss. Love in Christ, Virgil and Cynetha York
