Robert Schmidt

Robert D. Schmidt of Lebanon, TN passed away December 8th, 2022. Robert was born in Tampa, Florida on October 12th, 1941. Robert is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Virginia and Victor LaDuke. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Marjorie Sanders Schmidt. He is also survived by his daughter, Carrie Schmidt Rosen. Four brothers: Gary (DeeDee) LaDuke, Timothy LaDuke, Victor (Marilyn) LaDuke, Ron (Carla) LaDuke; and one sister, Debra (Blaine) LaPierre.

Robert was a member of the Air Force. After spending 4 years in the armed forces, he spent 25 years with the Nestle company as a manager. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he served at the Past Master of Beech Lodge Number 240, and a Shriner. When not participating with the free masons and Shriner groups, Robert was a family man and a Christian, who also helped to teach Sunday school.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 11th in the evening from 3-8pm with a Masonic Service to be performed during the visitation.

Chapel Services will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and are to be conducted by Brother Larry Graves. These services will be held Monday, December 13th, 1pm with an hour visitation prior. Burial to follow at 2pm at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens.
