Ricky Lee Qualls

Ricky Lee Qualls Sr., age 65, passed away in his home in Hartsville, TN, on March 29, 2024. He was born in Springfield, TN to the late Donald and Dolly Qualls on June 24^th, 1959. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife of 45 years Susie Qualls. He is survived by his daughter Angela (Timothy) Lewis, son Ricky (Felicia) Qualls, daughter Amanda (Dennis) Gernaey, his grandchildren Tiara, Nevaeh, Timothy II, Sarah, Trenton, Kyle, Abby, Chyanne, Tamara, Kayla, and Natalie. Ricky has one great grandchild, Alaina, and two more on the way! Mr. Qualls is also survived by his sister Anita Seagraff, sister Deborah Qualls, brother Timmy Qualls Sr., as well as many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

A kind and welcoming soul, Ricky was known for his unwavering ability to make everyone around him feel at ease. His caring nature shone through in every interaction, always ensuring that others were taken care of. Despite his stubborn and hard-headed demeanor, Ricky's heart was filled with love and compassion for those in his life. Throughout his life, Ricky touched the hearts of many with his unique blend of humor and seriousness. He was truly a conversationalist who could effortlessly engage anyone in a meaningful discussion.
 
In his leisure time, Ricky found joy in simple pleasures. From passionately supporting the San Francisco 49ers football team, to spending serene days fishing or basking in the beauty of the outdoors, he cherished every moment. His love for card games like rummy, slap jack, and solitaire brought laughter and joy to those around him. Furthermore, Ricky's fondness for board games and classic westerns added color to his vibrant personality.
 
Ricky Lee Qualls will always be remembered for his deep love for his family and the precious moments spent together. His memory will continue to live on through the memories he created with those he leaves behind.

- Funeral Service: April 3rd, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
- Interment: April 3rd, 2024 at Sumner Memorial Gardens, Gallatin, TN.
