Sad to hear this. Richard and I were hired at the same time in 2002 with Farm Bureau. What time I spent with him was special. Sorry that I will not be able to attend the services.

Richard was a fighter, and if will and determination could have defeated cancer, he would certainly still be with us.

Eugene, and Barbara and the rest of the family you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Surely the Lord Jesus must have needed Richard and his magnificent soul up in Heaven. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know him here on Earth. My sincere condolences to Amy, Eugene, Barbara, and all his children. I had the great fortune to know Richard through coaching his son Eli in basketball. Such a wonderful family that reflected the spirit of their father.

Amy and Family
I am so sorry for your terrible loss. There are no comforting words that I can say to ease your pain and suffering. Richard and your family were always ready
to help me, from pulling my trash can down to the basement to cutting limbs and carrying them to the curb. You were and are good neighbors. I know what it’s
like to your lose your partner and best friend. It is the most awful feeling in the world. I wish for you the very best.

Your Neighbor and Friend

Mr & Mrs Breece, we have never met but I lost a son too 9 years ago. There are no words to describe what you go through loosing a son. Janet, you were such a kind friend to patrick. Thank you for that, and driving along way for his visitation. Mrs sparks I am so glad they all have you for your loving support and comfort. And all the Breese children, I know your grief is so great. But, as we all know our love ones have relocated to our heavenly home where they will have no more illness and pain. Richard brought the boys to fish in our lake. He never needed to call first or let us know. We loved it when we came home and saw him there with all four boys. Praise God his death was just a transition and he is alive and happy, dancing with Jesus!! Our love to Amy, his parents, and Hattie, Eli, Ben, Robert and Will.

I am just learning of Richard’s death now, after attempting to look him up. Richard was my insurance agent and when my late husband died in 2018, he was Johnny-on-the-spot when he heard of his passing, devoted to making sure that everything was all right for my son and me. He prayed with me, he made sure that the house insurance was the best and cheapest it needed to be until it was sold. My last interaction with Richard must have been just weeks before his passing, when he told me that he was retiring as the cancer was back. He expressed such gratitude at being given those many decades of life and family love after his first diagnosis. G-d bless him.
