Ms. Rhonda Jean Wallace, age 60 of Gallatin, TN passed away at home Sunday, October 18, 2020. Rhonda was born February 29, 1960 to Mr. Warner Raymer and Mrs. Betty (Clendening) Raymer.

Rhonda became a registered nurse in 1980 after obtaining her associates degree at Belmont University. She then proceeded to obtain her BSRN from Western KY and then she got her master's from Belmont University. She loved being a nurse and practiced for many years helping people in need. She also taught nursing courses at TSU, ITT and Fortis.

Rhonda is preceded in death by devoted husband of 31 years, Harry Wallace. She is survived by uncle, Larry (Marie) Clendening of Hendersonville, TN; aunt, Joyce Butler of Gallatin, TN; Several cousins and friends.

Rhonda was a lover of all animals and is survived by fur babies, Kevin, Missy, Barbie, Bella and Luna.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, October 22nd at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Brother Doyle Farris officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday October 21st from 4:00-8:00pm and Thursday 11:00am until service. Interment will follow service at Crestview Memory Gardens.

I enjoyed talking with Rhonda so much. I am one of the receptionist at Park Place where she stayed for a short time. God’s blessing. Barbara Strickland

Rhonda was an extraordinarily caring and loving person, a perfect personality for a nurse and wonderful friend. I will surely miss her.
