Raymond Kemp

Raymond Lee Kemp age 80 of Gallatin, TN, passed away on December 15, 2021. He was born March 22, 1941, in Bethpage, TN to the late Pretince and Ivy Lee (Spears) Kemp.

Along with his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by brothers, Knuckles Kemp, Odie Kemp, Charles Kemp, Paul Kemp, Jackie Kemp, Eddie Kemp and Billy Kemp.

Raymond is survived by loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Darlene Huffines Kemp; sons, Randy Kemp, Charlie Troutt and Danny Kemp; daughters, Rachel Thurman, Donna Troutt, Mary Kemp, Elizabeth Bowlin, Felisha Davison,  and Jennifer Kemp ; grandchildren, Alex Kress, Natasha Kemp, Terry Kress, Kyle Kress, Rachel Kress, Amber Griffin, Marcus Davison, Justin Davison, Daniel Davison, Kyle Kemp, Heather Trudue, Heidi Summers Tasha Thurman, Tisha Thurman and Mandy Thurman; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Kemp; and sister, Peggy Troutt.

Raymond loved to fish and was an excellent painter. He was caring and loving man and will be greatly missed by all those he loved and who loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 20th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Chris Kemp, Troy Kemp, Kyle Kress, Terry Kress, James Bowlin and James Davison serving as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20th from 11:00am until time of service.
