Randy Hampton passed peacefully into God‘s arms on September 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Randy was born January 8, 1947. He was preceded in death by his father, J. L. Randy spent his entire life devoted to his family and the community of Gallatin. Randy was a loving husband to his childhood sweetheart, Mohota, of 61 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Gallatin. He served as a city councilman, a member of the Gallatin Jaycees and Kiwanis Club. He worked for South Central Bell until his retirement at Bellsouth after 30 years. Upon retirement he sold real estate as part of Martin Realty House. He was an avid fisherman and self-taught musician. He was a beacon of sweetness and joy in every moment of his family’s lives and his warmth touched all. Randy was loaned to us by our heavenly father, and we will always remember his love and humility.
