A woman of faith, Patsy was known for her religious conviction and her kind-hearted nature. She was a long-time member of the Church of God of Prophecy, regularly attending church until she was no longer able. Faith was important to Patsy, through God her strength and commitment to her loved ones was immeasurable. She took great pleasure in the simple joys of life, often delighting in her visits to McDonald's for her favorite McChicken and apple pies. Big trips to the Smokey Mountains always made her excited. She would eagerly look forward to taking trips to Gatlinburg, TN to see the mountains in all their natural beauty.
Patsy had a passion for puzzles, particularly word searches. She could frequently be found with a book in hand, excitedly completing each page. Her family ensured that she always had many extra wordsearch books to feed her enthusiasm for solving puzzles. When she wasn't working puzzles in her books, she would solve puzzles on the television. Although she is gone is not forgotten.
