Marsha Mcwhorter

Mrs. Marsha Lee McWhorter, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021. She was born on December 1, 1939 in El Centro, CA. She is preceded in death by her father, Marshall Belch; mother, Lois Norris Cotney and stepfather, Jim Cotney; her husband, Frank McWhorter; stepson, Shane McWhorter; grandson, Keith Patton; and sister, Theresa Gomez.

Marsha was the owner of B&M Trucking with her husband, Frank, since 1994. She was a long-time volunteer at Sumner Regional Medical Center for many years. Her biggest joy was her family, especially her grandkids. She was always willing to help others.

Marsha is survived by her children, Donnie (Sherry) Patton, Rusty Patton, and Mike Patton; grandchildren, Cody Patton, Shawn Patton, Mitch Patton, Trent Patton and Chad Patton; step grandchildren, Dustin Furrer, Matt Mitchell and Colby McWhorter; great grandchildren, Landynn Patton, Kadance Patton, Benjamin Patton, and Andruw Mitchell; brother in law, Jim McWhorter; and sister in law, Sara McWhorter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm, Saturday, August 28th at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10am-12pm prior to the graveside at Alexander Funeral Home.
