Lonnie Joe Prettyman, 74, of Gallatin Tennessee passed away on Sunday October 8th, 2017 with his family by his side.
Born January 31st, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri, he was the son of Alfred and Mae Jo Prettyman. Lonnie was a successful business man owning several machine shops that created parts for the aerospace industry through the 80's until opening his last venture in southern California where he started a successful construction and paving company until his retirement in 2005.
Lonnie loved his antique cars and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman collecting many trophies along the way until he found his next love "golf" which he loved to play several times a week. Above all Lonnie loved to spend times with his family and grandchildren.
Lonnie married Bertila Medina October 7th, 1964 in California where they lived and raised their children. Lonnie has 3 children, Lona, Lonnie and Gina.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 53 years Bertila Prettyman, (sister) Lynita Brightwell and husband Danny Brightwell, (daughter) Lona Romanello, (son) Lonnie Joseph Prettyman and wife Joy Prettyman, (daughter) Gina Bevins and husband Joe Bevins. Lonnie has 6 grandchildren, Maegan and Gabrielle Romanello, Spencer Cobb, Ryan, Bailey, and Timber Bevins.
Services: The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. followed by services at Alexander Funeral Home.

So very very sorry for your loss. I remember your Dad well from my Lakewood Ladies days.. Please give your Mom a hug for me and tell her how sorry I am to hear of your Dad passing. Prayers for you and family to heal from your loss and remember the wonderful times you had together.
