11 Comments Gary and Brenda Butler October 13, 2019 at 9:51 pmMr. Clark was a nice man. We have known him and his family for many years. It was obvious that his family meant everything to him. He had the biggest smile always. I know his family and friends will miss him, but Jesus, the one who loves him most is welcoming him home.

Harold Bubba Owen October 13, 2019 at 11:11 pmMr. Clark gave me my first job at 15. As Gary and I grew to be best friends the Clarks were my second family, I worked my way through college pulling weekend duty at his Exxon station in Madison. Leman gave so much to so many, his heart will never be matched. What an angel he was here on earth every day of his life.

From your neighbor on Calvert Street way back when, I'm so sorry Becky, David, Tricia, Gary and Ricky and your beautiful mama. I remember your dad always being so kind to us neighborhood kids…riding bikes through the bushes and the yard, camping out on the side porch for hours, playing kick ball and baseball in your backyard…constantly keeping y'all from your chores…yet he always asked how I was doing, and how were our parents doing? He laughed at us and all our antics! I can still fondly see him in my heart and mind. I'm praying for you. The peace of Christ be with you all!
Love, Pam (Boyer) Sands
Bro. Leman was a very kind man, always smiling! He loved the Lord! Him and Kat were the best friends to my mom and her husband, they enjoyed trips together! So sorry for the family but we know where he is and we will meet him again! Sweet memories!

My dad was a mechanic but died in 1972 when I was in high school. I can't remember if he knew Leman, but there is a high probability. But I do remember him. He and the whole big fam I loved. Loved visiting Gary and fam on Calvert in 66, 67, 68. Pleasant memories.

Tammie and Dave: I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Dave's Dad. Also sorry I never got to meet him. From his picture and other comments, I can tell he was a great person. I know ya'll will miss him dearly. My prayers are with ya'll!! Sorry, I will be unable to attend his funeral but my thoughts are with both of you! I did not send anything to the funeral home as I know he probably got a lot. I would like to pick out something very special and deliver to your home in his memory. Love ya'll!!
