Kathy Johnson

Mrs. Kathy Johnson age 69, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away Friday April 9, 2021.

Kathy was born September 6, 1951, in Sumner County, Tennessee to the late Willie Walker, and Lola Jones Williams.

She was an avid playing Cards collector, enjoyed flowers, and loved her family. Kathy was retired from the White House High School with over 20 years of service as the custodian and was a big supporter of their football team.  She was a faithful member of Trinity Fellowship Church in White House, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters; Louis Walker, and Wanda Walker Johnson. Brothers-in-law; Bobby Johnson, Leonard Bloodworth, and Paul Ryman. Sister-in-law Sue Johnson.  Nephews; Robert Johnson, and Tommy Johnson. Niece Angie Johnson.

Surviving are her devoted husband of 52 years, James Johnson. Sister Joyce McElhiney (George).  19 Nieces and nephews, Several Great niece, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Kathy will be conducted Sunday April 11, 2021, at 1 PM, from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Roy Lamberth officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sadler Family Cemetery in Westmoreland, Tennessee.

The following gentlemen will service as active pallbearers: Mickey Pearson, J. T. Smith, Tony Misch, Ricky Johnson, Darrell Rippy, and Dale Rippy.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Miller Johnson, Danny Rippy, Carl Rippy, Billy Rippy, Don Rippy, Mr. Cordell, and Coach Porter.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 pm until 8 pm, and Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of the service Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
