Jerry Raymond Ozmon, a beloved father, devoted husband, and a kind-hearted gentleman, passed away on August 26, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Born on December 3, 1957, Jerry approached life with a gentle demeanor and possessed a warm and compassionate spirit that left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jerry touched the lives of countless individuals through his kindness and welcoming nature. His genuine care for others made him a cherished friend and confidant. Jerry's loving and caring nature extended to everyone. As the rock of his family, he showered them with affection and support. His unconditional love created a nurturing environment where loved ones flourished.
In his free time, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family. It brought him much joy to this life. Watching Dodgers baseball games was a family tradition that provided him with excitement. At family functions he was renowned for making a great salsa, playing board and card games.
Jerry's proudest accomplishments were rooted in his role as a loving father and devoted husband. He cherished every moment spent with his family, and Valerie Ozmon, his wife of 26 years.
Jerry is survived by Shirley Fryer-Ozmon (mother), Valerie Ozmon (wife), Pam (David) Price (sister), Jerod (Laura) Ozmon (son), Taylor (Yasmeen) Ozmon (son), Kimberly (Matt) Rohr (daughter), Vanessa (Gabe) Wirth (daughter), Winter (Steven) Maher (daughter), and Jared Peaker (son). Jerry is also survived by his 12 grandchildren: Kiera, Neil, Jaydon, Kaiden, Averi, MacKenzie, Tristen, Jackson, Rylee, William, James, and Olivia.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Ozmon, his stepfather, Loren Fryer, his sister, Peni Ozmon, his brother, Jackie Ozmon, and his son, Austin Peaker.
To honor Jerry's memory and celebrate his remarkable life filled with love and compassion, visitation services will be held on September 2nd at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Jerry Raymond Ozmon's legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His gentle soul and genuine care for others made him an exceptional human being. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that his love will continue to guide and inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have him touch their lives.
