Jerolyn Ruth Rivers Smithson, age 73 of Gallatin, passed away at home on September 28, 2017. Graveside Service will be Monday, October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 2nd from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 584 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. Mrs. Smithson was born November 12, 1943 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Walter and Frances Rivers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Smithson, Jr. She is survived by lifetime friend, Carolyn Seal of Lebanon. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
