Mr. Jennings was born March 15, 1940 to the late Dorman and Katie Parnell Jennings. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Wetherington Jennings; brothers, David and Gerry Jennings. He is survived by son, James Dale Jennings, Jr. (Lisa) of Scottsboro, AL; daughter, Kristin Amos (fiancé Charlie) of Glasgow, KY, brothers, Morgan Jennings of Franklin, NC and Robert Jennings of White House, TN; sisters, Gail Back of Palatka, FL and Joyce Baeshore of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Paige Gregory, Megan Jennings, Steven Amos and Robin Jennings.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 6th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Larry Graves officiating. Interment will follow In Sumner Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Jennings served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Cottontown Baptist Church.
