Henry Delbert Stover, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away January 27, 2023. He was born in Nashville, TN on February 11, 1938, to the late Bate and Corella Stover. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother Ethel Sullivan and his sons, Dewayne Stover and Donald Stover. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Stover; daughter Debbie (Kevin) Denny, and their children Hope and Hollie Denny; daughter-in-law, Renee Stover, and her sons Kyle (Stacey) Stover, Kory (Angela) Stover and Kody Stover; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Stover and children Ryan (Andrea) Stover, and Rachel Stover; great-grandchildren, Brice, Blair, Emma, Owen, Gavin, Mason, Austin, Abby, and Amelia; special friends, Darlene and Dwayne Pierce, and many nephews and nieces. Henry enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and bird watching. He also enjoyed following his children’s extra-curricular activities from baseball parks to football and recitals. His golden years were spent with Betty as a snowbird in Florida. Henry spent many years in construction as a contractor and business owner and passed his trade down to his sons. He enjoyed building anything with his hands including birdhouses. Visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Wednesday February 1, 2023, from 11 am until time of service at 1pm. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Thomas Stover, Ryan Stover, Kyle Stover, Kory Stover, Kody Stover, and Brice Lompkins. Honorary pallbearers are Benny Stover, Randy Stover, Lewis Davis, and Dwayne Pierce.
