He was born August 7, 1953, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Glyn Harrison Wallace, Sr. and Josephine Dobson Wallace.
Glyn was influenced at an early age by Elder Dr. Robert Sidwell, and Ferrell Haile. He was a 1971 graduate of Gallatin High School. In 1977 he graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a degree in Pharmacy. He immediately went to work at Sumner Reginal Medical Center as a pharmacist. Glyn has worked at many pharmacies advancing his role in leadership positions throughout the years.
Surviving are his devoted wife of 33 years Rhonda Raymer Wallace. Cousins Jill Taylor and Grady Payne. Godchild Rachel Hall. Special friends Bob Crabtree, and Betty Trisdale.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Tuesday January 14, 2020, at 2 PM from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Doyle Farris officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. The following gentlemen serving as
Pallbearers: Phillip Trisdale, Mike Swann, Grady Payne, Jim Taylor, Jordon West, and Larry West.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4pm until 8pm, and on Tuesday from 1 pm until the hour of the service.
