Edith Young

Ms. Edith Young, age 91 of Castalian Springs, TN passed away June 29, 2021. She was born December 13, 1929, in Co-operative, KY to the late Fred (Rosa) Spradlin.

Along with her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Joshua Young; son, Randy Young; and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Young; grandson, Dane Young; brother, Glen (Margaret) Spradlin; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Young. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.

Edith is a member of Creekside Fellowship Church in Castalian Springs, TN and she retired from Avon Industries. She had a strong belief in God and a genuine love for her family and friends. She was always there to give support and love to all that knew her. She will be truly missed.

Per her wishes, Edith will be cremated. A Graveside service will be held, which will include the Lord’s prayer and the singing of Amazing Grace. Inurnment will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH. Arrangements are pending.

In Lieu of flowers and in true Edith fashion, she asked that donations be made to Creekside Fellowship Church, 101 Harsh Lane, Castalian Springs, TN 37031. Her wish for the donations be used to help families in need.
