Edgar Overstreet

Edgar A. “JR” Overstreet, age 72, passed away on November 24, 2021. He is preceded in death by his son, Chris Overstreet and 6 siblings.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cheryl Overstreet, daughter, Amy (Brandt) Shook, grandchildren, Maze and Paisley Shook, brothers, Jimmy (Cheryl) Overstreet and Kenneth (Vicki) Overstreet, sister, Donna (Tony) Knox.

Edgar was a Marine veteran and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He loved to fish but, he enjoyed being at home and with his family and tinkering with things around the house.

Visitation with thew family will be on Saturday November 27, 2021 from 11-1 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1 PM at Alexander Funeral Home.
