Donna was born in Lawrence County, Illinois to George Dunlap and Melinda Dixon Dunlap. She is preceded in death by both parents and four sisters; Patty Wilkens, Betty Petrazio, Georgia Rigg and Shirley Inboden.
Donna is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronnie Richardson.
Donna is survived by sisters, Helen Tuttle of Martinsville, IL; Carol Thompson of Robinson, IL; twin brother, Donald Dunlap of Oblong, IL; half-brother, Stanley Dunlap of O'Fallon, IL; daughter, Lisa Holland of Tioga, ND; Melinda Woodard of Madison, TN; Kevin Richardson of Gallatin, TN; Kelly Richardson of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Donna graduated Robinson High School in Robinson, IL.
Donna worked as a payroll specialist for Sumner County Board of Education and retired in July 2013.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 8th at 11:00am from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Kent Christmas officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7th from 4:00-7:00pm and Friday, January 8th from 10:00am until time of service.
Flowers will be accepted for family or if you would like to donate to the COPD Foundation or American Lung Association, that would greatly be appreciated.

Donna and Ron and I had many special memories together and most of them were full of laughter and all of them are full of love. FLY HIGH,MY FRIEND, FLY HIGH! We were neighbors for a very long time. It was never the same when Ron and Donna moved away.
I spoke with her briefly before her passing and will be forever grateful for that.
We are happy knowing she is with her beloved husband Ron.
