Bob DeGraff August 25, 2018 at 1:25 amI met Don and his family in 1965 when we first moved to Warsaw. I was a “Donnelley Brat” along with quite a few other kids whose parents worked there. “Mom Franklin” took care of the guys on our Warsaw High school swim team. Over the years I got to know Don professionally, after I was hired for the Donnelley in Gallatin. I mourn with the whole family and remember the legacy that is your Dad. He is a man that will not be forgotten by any of the lives he touched.
Pat Givens August 25, 2018 at 9:32 pmSo sad to learn of Don's passing. He loved his family and his church. I really grew to know Don & Jeanne in the kitchen at FUMC. He brought all of us ‘kitchen ladies' treats from his garden!! He loved to serve others at church and in the community! He will be missed but I know he is in heaven with Our Savior.
Johnnie Godwin August 26, 2018 at 6:08 pmSympathy from neighbors Johnnie and Phyllis Godwin–ever since April 1980. We’ve enjoyed living just across the street from Don and Jeanne. They have blessed our lives. My own career in Christian publishing put me in regular contact with Donnelley, and I know Don’s colleagues appreciated his statesmanship as a leader and executive and friend. Phyllis served a term in the grand jury under Don’s Sumner County leadership, and she really respected the way he managed that important part of our citizenry and efforts at integrity in the justice system. We honor both Don and Jeanne and pray Jeanne and family will have a sense of celebration as Don has gone to join the heavenly choir. Blessings on you.~

Joyce Edwards August 27, 2018 at 4:58 pmJeanne, I wish I was there to give you a big hug. I remember how faithful you was to care for Don. I miss seeing you in the choir that I loved so much. I am so far away – living in Arizona now near my only daughter. My prayers are with you my dear friend.
