Deborah Hutchins

Deborah Todd Hutchins, aged 68, of Smithville passed away on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 due to complications of a stroke in Hendersonville, TN. Deborah was born on January 9th, 1955 in Rockwood, TN to parents Pauline Nicholas and John L. Todd Jr. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1973. She spent several years working for attorneys in Sparta, TN before she retired. Deborah was a member of the Rockwood United Methodist Church. In her free time, she liked to spend time outside gardening or inside curled up reading a good book.

Deborah is preceded in death be her parents, John L. Todd Jr. and Pauline Nicholas Todd. She is survived by her daughter Amanda (Chance) Williams of Portland, TN, and son Dallas Hutchins of Gallatin, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Stephanie (James Watkins) Ezzell of Gallatin, TN; niece, Heather (Nick) Petrocci of Hendersonville, TN; nephews, Kyle (Megan) Troutt of Gallatin, TN and Jonathan (Katelyn) McGuire of Orlinda, TN; and one granddaughter Emma Williams of Portland, TN.

Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center are to oversee all arrangements. A graveside service will be held on January 26th, 2023 at Sumner Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
