Daniel Smith

Mr. Daniel Smith, age 70 of Gallatin, TN passed away March 1, 2022. He was born February 23, 1952, in Sumner County, TN to the late Roger Ewing and Irene Smith.

Along with his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by brother, Roger Smith and sister, Patsy Jean Simpson.

Daniel is survived by loving wife of 40 years, Carol; son, Christopher (Jennifer) Smith of TN; daughter, Gina Brouwer of MA; grandchildren, Caleb Smith, Anna Smith, Lucy Smith of TN, Krista (Sean) Nolan of MA, Nicholas (Olivia) Brouwer of GA; great-grandson, Viceroy Brouwer of GA; sister, Nancy (Travis) Porter and Connie (Harvey) Thaxton and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, March 7th  at 10:00am from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Chris Jensen officiating.. Burial will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens with Caleb Smith, Chris Smith, Nick Brouwer, Sandy Smith, Harley Smith and Sean Nolan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Smith, Harvey Thaxton, Sam Pilcher and Travis Porter. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6th from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
