Christine Gregory

Christine Gregory, age 93 of Castalian Springs TN, passed away August 5th, 2022, at Oak Hill Senior Living in Portland, TN. Ms. Gregory was born November 05, 1928, in Lafayette, TN, daughter of the late Perkins Alexander Dickens and Bevie Nichols Dickens.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Edward Gregory, daughter, Lois Jean Gregory Green and grandson, Jeffery Manning.

She is survived by daughters, Linda C Manning ( Donnie) of Bethpage and Beverly G Watson (Mel) of Portland; brothers, Willard Dickens of White House and Joe Dickens of White House; sister, Nancy Durham of Gallatin; grandchildren, Chris Green, Lisa Armstrong, Richard Green, Kenny Manning,  David Manning, Jason Watson, Deric Watson, Laura Watson Meador; great grandchildren, Josh Green, Blake Green, Jordan Armstrong, Lexie Armstrong, Camdon Green, Lanna Green, Zac Watson, Nic Watson, Luc Watson, Kinsey Watson, Caden Watson,  Campbell Watson, Hannah Meador, Maggie Meador, Sarah Parker Meador, Keri Simons, Kristi Manning, Kole Manning, Haley Newton, Casey Manning; great great grandchildren, Keaton Simons, Tegan Simons, Aislee Green, Finley Newton, Lincoln Lynch, Emery Kate Green, Brynn Green, Cora Lee Green, Canton Green, Samuel Watson, Lyla Hope Watson.

Funeral service will be Tuesday August 9th at 2 PM from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation center with Brother David Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Monday August 8th from 4 pm to 8 pm and from 12 noon until time of service on Tuesday.  Ms. Gregory was a retired childcare provider.
