Buford Franklin Smith Jr, age 59, of Gallatin, passed away September 22, 2018.
Mr. Smith was born June 11, 1959 in Nashville,TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford Franklin Smith Sr and Vivan Allen; step-father Pete Allen; sister, Donna Sue Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith; sons, Terry (Chanda) Smith and Joseph Smith; brother, Allen Smith; sister, Linda Moss; grandchildren, Sophia, Mason, Hunter, Parker and Carson Smith; a host of nieces and nephews and a special sister in law, Betty Hall.
Visitation for Mr. Smith will be Monday, September 24th from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday, September 25th from 9am to 1pm. Celebration of Life Service will be at 1pm Tuesday, September 25 at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Westmoreland, TN. Pastor Woody Alderson will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Summers, Mitchell Summers, Bo Summers, Mark Shearer, Logan Hall and Cheston Holder.
