Beverly Lee Nichols

Beverly Nichols, age 73, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 31, 1951, to her parents, James and Mattie Gezley.

As a Music City native, she was known for loving country music.

Beverly was a stay-at-home mom and wife. She was the most loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed vacationing with her family, especially to the beach in Destine, Florida.

Her family and friends will remember her zest for life. She will be dearly missed by many, and her memory will be cherished.

Beverly Lee (Gezley) Nichols is survived by her son, James Dunman (Velvet); daughters, Daveta Crook (Garry), Devi Jones (Chris); grandchildren, Cory Cousins, Lacy Cousins, Cody Crook, Christopher Crook, Dalton Houston, Mattie Houston, Erika Jones, Curt Jones, Micah Jones, Amy Weatherly; great-grandchildren, Jondavid cousins, Miranda Cousins, Thomas Cousins, Scarlett Houston, Hazel Herring, Presley Jones, Charlie Jones, Everett Jones; great-great-grandson, Oliver James Cousins; brother, Rick Dobbs; sister-in-law, Linda Gezley; and her bestfriends, Jackie Harper, Angie Minchey, and Lynn Holloway.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Robert Wayne Nichols; father, James Gezley; mother, Mattie Irene (Fulton) Gezley; and brother, Blackie Gezley.

Services will be held at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M., until time of the funeral service at 12:00 P.M. Departure to the cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service. Burial in Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery (located: 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN, 37221) will take place at 2:00 P.M.

Chris Crook, Cody Crook, Gary Crook, Chris Demson, James Dunman, and Chris Jones will be serving as pallbearers.
