Barbara Ann Burgess Weymouth, 79, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Bettendorf, Iowa. A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Sumner Memorial Gardens — Mausoleum Chapel, 420 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066.

Barbara was born July 12, 1944 in Cumberland County, NC, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Walters) Burgess, She was married to Russell Eaton Weymouth for 59 years, before he met his Lord and Savior in July 2020. They loved serving the Lord together and were in ministry at Faith Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN until Russ passed away. Barbara always met you with a huge smile and called everyone "Honey". Barbara was always singing or humming hymns and gospel music wherever she went. She was a very talented artist and loved sewing, making miniatures, and painting. Barbara loved animals and flowers. When married to Russell, they loved to travel and went on many adventures.

Barbara is survived by many friends and family including, her guardians Jason (Karla)

Taylor from Bettendorf, Iowa, nieces and nephews: Rachel B. Van Gorden, Preston (Melissa) Burgess, Buffy Burgess, Robert "Robbie" (Alison) N. Burgess, Ill, Mary-Kaitlyn Burgess and great nieces and nephews. Her parents Robert N. Burgess, Sr. and Elizabeth W. White, stepfather Howard N. White, brothers Robert "Bob" Burgess, Jr. and Jack Edwards Burgess preceded her in death.
