Mr. Arvil Lee Kitts age 90 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 26, 2019. He was born May 10, 1929, in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Lloyd and Pernie Jordon Kitts.

Mr. Kitts was a deacon at the Central Baptist Church in Newton Falls, Ohio, for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army. Mr. Kitts was retired from Anchor Motor Freight where he worked for over 34 years as a car hauler.

Surviving are his devoted wife of over 70 years Lois Wilson Kitts. Son Steven Kitts; daughter Debbie Kitts; granddaughter Cierra Kitts.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Wednesday July 31, 2019, at 2 pm at the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Dr. Ted Hill officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens mausoleum with military honors.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 pm until 7 pm, and Wednesday from 1 pm until 2pm at the funeral home.

Our prayers r with u all. Are boys grew up togeather n have many fond memories of them growing up. Mr Kitts was a great father to his children n husband. Chip sends his prayers also.

My thought’s and prayer’s are with the Kitts Family during this time of sadness. I grew up with Steve and have many fond memories of Mr Kitts. He was a great man and a loving and caring father and he will be missed.
