Annette Broomhead, age 66, of Antioch, Tennessee, suddenly departed on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
She was born on February 4, 1958, in Peoria, Illinois, to her parents Thomas and Frances Vaughn.
Annette graduated from Washington Highschool, in Washington Illinois, and continued her education at Illinois Central College, where she attained her associate degree.
Annette was married to Steven Broomhead Sr., on November 4, 1978. Together they had three sons, and Annette was a stay-at-home wife and mother. After her children were grown, she went back to work at Home Depot and Office Depot. In 2005, Annette started to work as a Clerk for the Secretary of State, until she retired.
In her personal time Annette was a talented artist. She painted landscapes, and did thread work like tatting lace, and crocheting. She was also an avid reader, which was a hobby she shared with her husband; they also enjoyed playing card games such as pinochk and canasta.
Annette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
Annette Marie (Vaughn) Broomhead is survived by her loving husband of 45 and a half years, Steven E. Broomhead Sr.; sons, Daniel (Karen) Broomhead, Steven (Stephanie) Broomhead Jr., Jeffry (Shonda) Broomhead; grandchildren, Jeadon, Faith, Grace, Raef, Alaina, Hope, Finley, Wilder; sisters, Christine Jenkins, and Karon Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Vaughn, and mother, Lena Frances (Aucff) Vaughn.
A memorial gathering will take place at Alexander Funeral Home on Friday, MAy 17, 2024, from 3:00 P.M., until 7:00 P.M..Friday, May 17, 2024
